Born Mehdi Benjelloun, France's live electronic producer and DJ, better known as Petit Biscuit, continues to disrupt the norms of the EDM world. At only 19 years old, Petit Biscuit is performing at globally recognized music festivals, and collaborating with Grammy Award winning musicians. After the monumental success of his 2016 debut album, "Petit Biscuit," his beautiful buzz landed in the hands of Russian born producer, Zedd. Three months ago, Zedd released his single "Stay." And three days ago, Zedd released PB's flip of "Stay" on his Soundcloud. PB's remix is is chopped with a fine, delicate syncopation; it is warm, bubbly and vibrant. As I listen to the collaboration between a radio sensation and a French teenager, I hear the sounds of confetti, and the reverb of celebration. It is an instrumental interpretation of fireworks. It will fill each of your senses with silk and sentiment. PB's integrated piano riffs challenge the standard of electronic music by filling the void of Ableton software with live instruments. This remix is fluid, as it flows like liquid diamonds through my veins. As I stream this track for the 6th time in a row, editing my run on sentences, I am overwhelmed with an artistic vision that can only be inspired by a remix as striking as this one. Find your own inspiration with the litany of "Stay" remixes, featuring Petit Biscuit and other talented producers on Zedd's Spotify.

[PREMIERE] YOKE LORE - HOLD ME DOWN (GILLIGAN MOSS REMIX)
Music, Remix, PREMIERECommentI first noticed Yoke Lore on the upper ranks of the Hype Machine charts earlier this year and was instantly entranced with the honesty and sincerity of the music. Part indie folk, part dream pop, and part experimental electronic, it’s reminiscent of legend-caliber acts like The Shins and M83, but is also uniquely its own. The project is the new musical venture of Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Adrian Galvin, previously of Yellerkin and Walk the Moon. I was lucky enough to catch a live set last month in Hollywood at School Night, and let me tell you, he did not disappoint!
I’m honored today to premiere the first remix of a Yoke Lore track, coming in the form of an unconventional, playful, house-influenced edit from Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based producers Gilligan Moss. Moss’ inimitable production tendencies have led to impressive remixes for artists such as Sia and Glass Animals and a 2015 EP of original music called Ceremonial with over a millions listens on Spotify.
Their envisioning of “Hold Me Down” begins almost like a symphony, then the isolated vocals make an entrance joined by a delicate synth line, and not until almost a minute in do we start to get any percussion. The beat is somewhat familiar indie-dance but is scattered with an array of flittering flourishes that lead to listener down an unexpected path. Coupled with Galvin’s hypnotic vocal melodies, it’s easy to get lost in — the perfect tune for a mid-December morning.
Catch Yoke Lore on tour now supporting Handsome Ghost, remaining dates below:

12/15 Cattivo Pittsburgh, PA (tickets)

ARDENCY - RACES
Music, Original MixCommentThings around the Beautiful Buzzz office are nothing but crazy hectic! One week out from SXSW is the worst time ever - which is why I do so much night blogging around this time of year - because the middle of the night is the only free time I can find! I also feel like if I don't talk about some of the tracks that came out today, I never will -- and this one is not one I can't pass up! We love the Ardency boys! Every track this electro indie house duo produces is bananas good - and super sexy with a slightly dark and edgy sound, or in other words all things delicious! This is the second single from their forthcoming Mechanism EP, and you guys can grab this new Ardency track as a free download HERE for a limited time!
BEN PHIPPS - ALIVE FT. ASHE
Music, Original MixCommentBen Phipps just dropped a killer tune! This Swedish producer is new on our radar - we've been keeping an eye and an ear on him since last fall and loving all the music he's creating. Today Ben Phipps hands us his latest original "Alive ft. Ashe" that is absolutely beautiful. This indie house producer blends Ashe's dreamy vocals into a fantastic electro-pop jam that has us singing along - love it! And we should congratulate him on just signing to CAA as his US agency -- now he's got a fancy agent and we can start to get some US shows from this legend! Can't wait to see what he has in store for us next! You can grab this as a free download HERE!
KIDNAP KID - FALL
Music, Original MixCommentAll I can say is ..... swoon! One of my favorite producers around, Kidnap Kid has a new one coming out and I am super delighted! His tracks are fucking bananas good - this is indie deep house at it's best -- at least for me it is. "Fall" has that dark and sexy flavor that Kidnap Kid handles -- like a ninja! This little muffin is easy on the eyes too, good lord he kinda stole my heart while playing our SXSW party this year! Beautiful and talented - the music speaks for itself! Listen and love!
